Did you know? Innovatus Imaging is an FDA-registered medical device Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) as well as an Independent Service Organization (ISO). Innovatus manufactures ultrasound probes, ultrasound arrays, and ultrasound-related devices for several well-known OEMs. What does all of this mean for you? Innovatus Imaging is uniquely qualified to repair your ultrasound probes.
Original Equipment Manufacturers such as GE, Philips, and Siemens don’t offer healthcare providers or HTM service teams a repair solution when their ultrasound probes fail. OEMs provide exchange solutions. Order a replacement, and return your defective probe. It’s not new. It’s how the OEM industry operates. But there’s so much savings in repair, IF performed correctly.
Some OEMs do operate probe repair divisions, yet they only repair their own probes. GE will repair select models of GE probes, and Siemens will repair select models of Siemens probes. Neither will repair probes manufactured by other OEMs, which can add stress to an already stressful scenario. Innovatus repairs the most-popular probe models by the most-popular OEMs.
…and over 100 models are fully repairable.
The short 1-minute video, below, shares some of the qualifications and also highlights some of specialized equipment used in our manufacturing division. Many of the good-manufacturing-processes and test procedures are transferred to our repair operations…and each and every process and procedure is captured in our ISO 13485:2016 certified Quality Management System.
Join Ted Lucidi, Director of Commercial Operations, and our Chief Technical Officer and co-founder, Mike LaBree, for this quick overview. Few, if any other, Independent Service Organizations have the engineering talent and specialized test equipment needed to perform at the OEM level.
