UPDATE FROM INNOVATUS IMAGING IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19

It’s times like these which reflect the wise words of Bernard Williams:

“Man has never made any material as resilient as the human spirit.”

Over the last few days, the impacts of COVID-19 continue to expand with travel restrictions, school closures, non-essential businesses being asked to close and the potential for new legislation guiding employees and employers as we steer in this unprecedented territory.  Recommendations and requirements are changing rapidly, and we want to assure everyone we are monitoring all federal, state and local guidelines and we will do everything possible to meet the intent of recommended guidelines. Regarding human safety we will meet all guidelines recommended by government officials. The work that our team performs everyday plays an important role in keeping our national healthcare system operating as efficiently as possible and during this time, we are committed to helping you maintain continued workflow. Our Centers of Excellence are fully operational, and our customer care department is fully staffed to assist you with any service needs.

Organizationally, we rely upon our ISO 13485: 2016 certified quality management system to ensure not only safe and effective products, but safe working environments for our employees. Innovatus Imaging has developed an Infectious Disease and Control COVID-19 Policy to provide guidance and maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all team members, customers and customer products.  We want to assure you that, as part of our standard operating procedure, customer products arriving at our facilities are disinfected upon arrival and cleaned with hospital grade disinfecting products exiting our facility. Innovatus Imaging recommends that our customers follow OEM instructions and facility policies prior to the use of any medical device.

Operationally, we’ve implemented work from home for certain roles which has allowed us to minimize the number of individuals in each facility. Furthermore, our teams have taken additional steps, such as implementing workspace distancing, actively cleaning workspaces and high-touch areas and maintaining strong hygiene practices. Our leadership teams will continue to work on-site to ensure continued operations and to assist those employees remaining on-site.

As part of the Department of Homeland Security’s “critical infrastructure,” Innovatus Imaging is taking proactive steps to protect the workplace in the current COVID-19 outbreak. During this incident, it is the goal of Innovatus Imaging to operate effectively and ensure that all essential services are continuously provided to the health care industry and that its employees remain healthy and safe.
